Today, July 22nd is the Deadline to Register to Vote in the Primary
JACKSONVILLE – Duval County Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland wants to remind all eligible voters that Monday, July 22, 2024, is the final day to register to vote or to change parties in the August 20, 2024, Primary Election.
Florida is a closed Primary state which means that only voters registered within that political party may vote in that party’s Primary Election.
However, there is something for all voters to cast ballots on during the Primary including non-partisan races like Judges and school board members.
Eligible voters can register at the Supervisor of Elections Office at 105 E. Monroe Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32202, at any Jacksonville Public Library or online at duvalelections.gov.
While on the website, you can check to ensure you are registered, see a complete list of Early Voting sites and the location of your precinct which may have changed due to boundary changes stemming from a lawsuit settlement.
If you have questions about the book closing for the Primary Election, please call the Duval County Elections Office at 904-255-VOTE (8683) or visit duvalelections.gov.
