Sample Ballots for the August 20th Primary are being Mailed to All 569,656 Voters in Duval County except those who Requested a Vote-by-Mail Ballot

JACKSONVILLE – Duval County Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland announces that a Sample Ballot for the Primary Election is being mailed to all 569,656 registered voters today, except those who have already been mailed their vote-by-mail ballot.

Also, 94,151 Sample Ballots will be emailed tonight to those who have requested to receive a Sample Ballot via email.

Florida is a closed Primary state which means that only voters registered within that political party may vote in that party’s Primary Election. However, there is something for all voters to cast ballots for during the Primary including non-partisan races like judges and school board members.

A voter can cast a ballot at any of our 24 Early Voting sites for the Primary Election starting on Monday, August 5, 2024, through Sunday, August 18, 2024. The hours for early voting are 10:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. You can see a complete list of early voting locations on our website, duvalelections.gov.

The deadline for voters to request a Vote-By-Mail ballot to be mailed for the Primary is 5:00 p.m., Thursday, August 8, 2024.

If you have questions about the Primary, please visit duvalelections.gov or call the Duval County Elections Office at 904-255-VOTE (8683).
