Duval County Supervisor of Elections Office sends UOCAVA to Military/ Overseas ahead of 2024 PPP

JACKSONVILLE – The Duval County Supervisor of Elections Office is sending 869 vote-by-mail ballots to UOCAVA (Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act) voters today. UOCAVA voters include active-duty military and Merchant Marine members living outside Duval County, dependents of those members, and overseas citizens.

As with any other voter, UOCAVA voters may request a vote-by-mail ballot by going to our website at www.duvalelections.gov; by phone; in person; or by sending in a signed request containing certain required items by email (as an attachment), by fax, or by mail.

UOCAVA voters may also use the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) to update information and request ballots. A vote-by-mail ballot can be delivered to a UOCAVA voter by mail, by fax, or by email.

The deadline for our office to receive a completed vote-by-mail ballot or an overseas faxed ballot is Election Day, March 19, 2024, at 7 p.m. Overseas ballots returned by mail are granted a 10-day deadline extension. So, overseas ballots returned by mail must be received by the Supervisor of Elections by March 29, 2024. Our office is honored and privileged to serve all voters of Duval County. Domestic civilian vote-by-mail ballots will be mailed by February 15, 2024.
